Program Content Description:
Participants will receive an article discussing how the social determinants of mental health (SDMH) are currently used among counselors and concludes with recommendations for application in the clinical setting. The article is supplemented with additional content to support SDMH assessment.

Program Learning Objectives:
Participants will acquire the knowledge provided in Gantt-Howry et al. (2024) and become familiar with using social determinants of mental health in clinical settings.
Participants acquire supplemental knowledge to support the use of social determinants of mental health assessment with clients.
Participants will rehearse and apply the knowledge with a flashcard content review prior to the quiz.
Participant knowledge will be demonstrated in a multiple choice assessment. Passing the quiz with 80% will automatically generate a certificate of course completion. Quizzes may be re-taken until passed.
