Program Content Description:
The counselor’s role in a hospital setting is still being defined. Micallef Marmara and Kemer (2023) interview other healthcare professionals to better define how the role of counselors fit into the greater hospital ecosystem. The article is supplemented with additional content to support implementation of a meditation intervention to support client wellness.

Program Learning Objectives:
Participants will acquire the knowledge provided in MIcallef Marmara and Kemer (2023) and become more familiar with how counselors fit among hospital healthcare professionals.
Participants acquire supplemental knowledge to support their understanding of the counselor’s role in hospitals.
Participants will rehearse and apply the knowledge with a flashcard content review prior to the quiz.
Participant knowledge will be demonstrated in a multiple choice assessment. Passing the quiz with 80% will automatically generate a certificate of course completion. Quizzes may be re-taken until passed.
