Participants will read about addiction counselors’ coping with client deaths in Sperandio et al. (2023). The article is supplemented with additional content to support understanding and experience of client death.

Program Learning Objectives:
Participants will acquire the knowledge provided in Sperandio et al. (2023) and become familiar with the counselor experience of client death.
Participants acquire supplemental knowledge to support understanding of counselor grief.
Participants will rehearse and apply the knowledge with a flashcard content review prior to the quiz.
Participant knowledge will be demonstrated in a multiple choice assessment. Passing the quiz with 80% will automatically generate a certificate of course completion. Quizzes may be re-taken until passed.
