Program Content Description:
Participants will learn about the advocacy role of counselors to help clients affected by the opioid epidemic from the reading Westcott et al. (2023). Opportunities to rehearse content and access resources for improved advocacy are also provided.

Program Learning Objectives:
Participants will acquire the knowledge provided in Westcott et al. (2023) and become familiar with advocacy for rule changes.
Participants acquire supplemental knowledge to support the implementation of advocacy.
Participants will rehearse and apply the knowledge with a flashcard content review prior to the quiz.
Participant knowledge will be demonstrated in a multiple choice assessment. Passing the quiz with 80% will automatically generate a certificate of course completion. Quizzes may be re-taken until passed.
